Grand Junction Rockestra kicks off 2015 with Hair Bands: A 70’s and 80’s Show

On Saturday, January 17th, the Grand Junction Rockestra rocks Robinson Theater at Colorado Mesa University with a tribute to all those guilty pleasure hair bands we love from the 70’s and 80’s. The concert begins at 7:30pm and will feature hits from Def Leppard, KISS, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Whitesnake, Scorpions, Judas Priest, Poison, Twisted Sister, Motley Crue, Guns N’ Roses, and Quiet Riot and many more.

The evening begins with beer and wine sales at 6:30pm courtesy of Breckenridge Brewery and Grande River Vineyards. Beer and wine will also be for sale at intermission.

Rockestra singers Josh Allen, Bryce MacEvoy, Toni Meade, Katie Walters and Jeena Williams all return to the stage for a hair-raising performance! The evening will also feature a tribute to legendary rocker Joe Cocker with a performance of his hit, The Letter.
