For the third straight year, the Western Colorado Jazz Orchestra will be performing as a part of Grande River Vineyards’ “Hear It Through The Grapevine” Concert Series as a benefit for the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra. This year’s concert will be held Saturday, June 27th on the lawn at Grande River Vineyards in Palisade, just off I-70 at Exit 42.
The Western Colorado Jazz Orchestra are a group of nearly 20 talented local musicians, under the direction of Greg Karly, who perform the great musical works from all eras and styles of the American jazz tradition.
Gates open at 6:30pm and the concert will begin at 7:30pm, rain or shine.
Dinner and dessert will be available for purchase from Kathy Q’s BBQ and Gelu Italian Ice. Grande River Vineyards will be selling wine, soda and water. You may bring a picnic and a lawn chair too, but no outside beverages are permitted.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. They can be purchased online at GJSO.org, by calling 243-6787 or visiting the Grand Junction Symphony office at 414 Main Street. They are also available at Fisher’s Liquor Barn, Roper Music and at Grande River Vineyards in Palisade.
